A giant panel clock has been installed on the south face of the Place Chauderon 9b building, overlooking the Chauderon bridge in Lausanne, Switzerland, which is is one of the city's busiest road areas. This clock is counting down to an international gymnastics event in the city that is expected to provide a big boost to Lausanne tourism.

The 14th World Gymnaestrada is a major international demonstration and festival of gymnastics that is organized by the Federation International de Gymnastiques, and will run for a week in July. It is a gala celebration of all things gymnastics, and is expected to be the largest sports event in terms of participants that Switzerland has hosted in recent years. 20,000 athletes from five continents and 52 countries are expected to take part.
